Buying a vehicle adaptation is a simple four step process, eased further by the help and guidance provided by our friendly team. Autochair vehicle adaptations can be purchased direct or via The Motability Scheme.
The Motability Scheme
The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to get mobile by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair. Adaptations are also offered as part of the scheme when purchasing a vehicle.

Grants & Funding

Access to Work
The Access to Work scheme provides grants and assistance to disabled people over the age of 16, so that they might start/ stay in work or launch their own business; it applies for full- and part-time employment, temporary work and self-employment. Essentially, it promotes independence.
